Moises Guevara of Para Todos, Todo, came to ACDSI seeking funding to expand his Mexican arts and crafts retail business in Allegany County. Moises came from Mexico and has many contacts from there. He works with a number of different artisans to have handmade pieces created and shipped to his business for resale. Moises sells at shows in Rochester and Avon, NY as well as through a number of local businesses all over Allegany and Steuben Counties. He hopes to be able to open a storefront in Alfred, NY in the next few years.

After many months of work on the business concept and plan, Moises was able to finish his business plan, financials, and loan application. In September his project was approved for a loan of $8,000 through ACDSI to cover expanded inventory, a tent, and a heater for the fall and winter shows. Moises attended our business training class through our Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP), which helped him develop his business plan. The class also provided much needed training on marketing, which Moises continues to use as he is developing his business website with our Business and Loan Counselors.

Para Todos, Todo continues to grow as more customers become aware of the great products and museum quality gifts that are available. Upcoming plans for the business include the launching of the companies website. Moises was recognized in several local newspapers when he graduated from the EAP.
