ACCORD Corporation’s Allegany Business Center recently garnered top honors at the annual Entrepreneurial Assistance Program conference in Mohonk, NY. The 2009 Award for Excellence was given to the Center in recognition of its Dedication and outstanding performance and achievement in all program areas. The Business Center is one of 24 EAP centers across NY State which offers technical assistance and training to start up and existing businesses.

The Allegany Business Center is currently enrolling participants for the Fall Business Training Camp. In this 10 week course entrepreneurs will learn: how to develop a business/strategy plan, tax issues, location, marketing, finding financing, insurance, legal issues, financial projections, competition, and record keeping. Classes will be held from September 15 through November 24, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Crossroads & Commerce Center in Belvedere. Seating for the course is limited.
